Citizenship Tutor

The Citizenship Tutor will meet with groups (sometimes 1-on-1) of adults to review and practice civic questions in preparation for the citizenship test. Volunteers will support the participants’ preparation for the test including the ability to read, write, and speak basic English.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Outgoing and energetic to lead a class of adult English learners
• Dependable and punctual
• Courteous and personable when interacting with the public
• Spanish speaking preferred (but not required, although some basic knowledge is helpful)

Time Commitment

• 1x/week for 2 hours
