Join Our Mission: Your Support Makes It Possible

From all of us at the Spanish Speaking Citizens’ Foundation (SSCF), we hope this message finds you well and wish you all the very best in the new year! As a valued member of the SSCF family, your generosity has been instrumental in helping us make a meaningful impact in our community. We are deeply grateful for your continued support.

Thanks to you, we have helped hundreds of immigrants navigate the path to citizenship and other immigration pathways, supported Latine students in achieving high school and college goals, and provided essential services such as financial aid guidance, academic mentoring, and community-building opportunities. Yet, there is still so much more to do, especially in the face of uncertainties impacting our immigrant neighbors, friends, and families.

Today, I am reaching out with an urgent request to help us continue this important work. In light of the 2024 election outcome, it is imperative that we come together to protect the rights, aspirations, and safety that every individual deserves. Now more than ever, your gift is crucial in ensuring the safety, well-being, and sense of belonging of immigrant communities.

Your donation will support youth, families and individuals who come to SSCF to:

  • Build English language skills and pursue educational success.
  • Access affordable and reputable immigration legal services.
  • Receive academic support through tutoring, scholarships, and mentorship.
  • Prepare for careers with job training, internships, and workforce entry support.
  • Access to citizenship preparation, voter education, and civic engagement programs.

To adequately respond to the current and anticipated needs of our immigrant community members and to expand our reach in the coming months, we aim to raise $150,000 by March 1st. We know this is an ambitious goal, but with the community’s support we can achieve it!

Your support will immediately allow us to expand our immigration services, increase Know Your Rights trainings, and support the work of our legal service partners by absorbing some of their cases. These funds also make it possible for us to provide and enhance services such as English language classes, citizenship preparation, and programs that help Latine youth graduate high school and pursue post-secondary education and employment opportunities.

We can't achieve this without you. Your gift will directly impact individuals and families who rely on our programs. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a significant difference. Here are the ways you can join us in making an impact:

Together, we can make a lasting difference. Thank you for considering this opportunity to invest in the future of our community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or for additional ways to support.

With immense gratitude,
Christopher Nery Martínez
Executive Director
