ESL (English as a Second Language) Instructors

The ESL Instructors provides content-focused ESL instruction which includes reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar as well as civic participation. An ESL Instructor’s duties may also include preparing course materials, individualized learning goals and tracking student progress.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Some teaching background
  • Outgoing and energetic to lead a class of adult English learners
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Courteous and personable when interacting with the public
  • Spanish speaking preferred (but not required, although some basic knowledge is helpful)

Time Commitment

  • 2x/week for 1.5 hours
  • Schedule TBD
  • 12 week commitment
